2025 Noxious Weeds Notice: NOXIOUS WEEDS NOTICEAdams County, State of Wisconsin LINK TO OFFICIAL NOTICE HERE The term “destroy” means the complete killing of weeds or the killing of weedplants above the surface of the ground by the use of chemicals, cutting, tillage,cropping system, pasturing livestock, or any or all of these in effective combination, atsuch time and in such manner as will effectually prevent such plants from maturing tothe bloom or flower stage. The term “noxious weeds” as used in this chapter includes the following: Canadathistle, leafy spurge and field bindweed (creeping Jenny) and any other such weeds asthe governing body of any municipality or the county board of any county byordinance or resolution declares to be noxious within its respective boundaries. Every person shall destroy all noxious weeds on all lands which he shall own,occupy or control. The person having immediate charge of any public lands shalldestroy all noxious weeds on such lands. The highway patrolman on all federal, state orcounty trunk highways shall destroy all noxious weeds on that portion of the highwaywhich he patrols. All members are invited to attend all the meetings.

NOTE: We are still in need of a new member of the board to take over Commissioner duties.

            Also, we would like to add a commissioner to coordinate harvesting operations.
